Section A - The design question
Remember that for the real exam you will have had the theme for some considerable time and will have prepared research material and some design ideas to help you respond quickly to the brief in the exam. You are unlikely to have the same level of preparation for the theme for the mock (the same theme won't come up again).

That said, you should be prepared to answer the design question in an efficient way that satisfies the marking criteria. Take a look at the video below to help you...
Section B - The manufacturing question
A manufacturing question comes up every year. Whilst the product and therefore the required manufacturing techniques obviously change, the process for answering the question can be learnt. Watch the video below to help you.
Section B - Short and long answer questions
The rest of section B will contain a selection of short and long answer questions that test your knowledge and understanding of the core content. The best way to prepare for these questions is to:
1. Revise and make notes from the Nelson Thornes book
2. Revise using the CGP book, completing the sample questions at the bottom of each page
3. Complete the practise questions using the white CGP book
4. Complete past papers (available on the shared area)
